Newbie actress Sonakshi Sinha, who’s all set to make her grand entrance in Bollywood with ‘Dabangg’ opposite Salman Khan, recently, revealed that just like Salman she too loves panting and strangely enough her painting style seems influenced by his.
Sonakshi went on to add that despite similarities in style she has never intentionally tried to copy him.
“Salman used to give me a theme and I used to paint accordingly, and when we see the final output, we used to find both the painting same,” added Sonakshi.
Sonakshi revealed that even before Salman showed her how to play with colors and brushes she was “extremely good in sketching” but was scared to use brushes.
"Salman is a wonderful painter. Whenever he found himself free he started painting and I used to go and join him,” added Sonakshi in her mentor’s praise.
Sonakshi being recommended by Salman?
As per tabloids buzz, it’s not just Sonakshi who’s showering praises on Salman for being helpful.
Reportedly, even Salman is not backing away from promoting and recommending the new starlet to other filmmakers in the industry.
Rumor has it that Salman recommended Sonakshi to his best buddy producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who was initially thinking about casting Deepika in his next venture.
However, all that changed after Salman’s suggestion and Sajid approached Sonakshi for his film ‘Kick’ opposite Salman.
Recently, reports emerged that Sonakshi has been approached by Abbas-Mastan for their venture ‘Italian Job.’
Govinda miffed with Salman over Sonakshi
As per industry grapevine, Salman’s fondness for Sonakshi has angered his best buddy Govinda.
Reportedly, Salman had promised to look after Govinda’s daughter Narmmaddaa’s launch in the Bollywood. Narmmaddaa was supposed to make her debut last year. However, so far nothing has materialized.
And Salman paying more attention to Sonakshi’s career is not helping the matters.
