Sonam Kapoor’s crush on Shaan

Sonam Kapoor whose elegance and poise have taken the heart of millions has given her heart to the sensational singer of Bollywood, Shaan. The secret got revealed by Sonam Kapoor, that she had a big crush on the singer and that too for a long time.

Shaan’s beautiful smile has made huge fans, and he is the singing heartthrob of many girls. So, it’s nothing new that the ‘Aisha’ girl lost her heart for him.

Sonam Kapoor recently met Shaan on the sets of ‘Chotte Ustad’ on Star Plus. The Sonam special episode would be telecast on the channel this Saturday. The damsel revealed while shooting for the program about her long time crush for Shaan.

To her surprise, she was even made to sit next to the singer and she ended up blushing being right beside him.

Sonam adds further, “I used to have a big crush on Shaan since the longest time. And I was lucky as I was sitting next to him on the judges table for ‘Chhote Ustaad’.”

Sonam came to the show wearing an aqua green net sari and with accessorized herself with matching danglers. She is the one, who is usually seen in designer labels and everyone got mesmerized by her beauty and grace, when seen in sari.

Munni getting badnaam in Dabangg

The much awaited music of the movie Dabangg was launched in New Delhi on Friday. The music of this flick has already created a buzz in the music lovers. One of its song-Tere Mast Mast Do Nain is truly enthralling and leaves the listeners spell bounded. The movie having greatly influenced from north part of India has its typical Bihari tadka in it with a nautanki song featuring the sizzling Mallika Arora Khan and brother-in-law Salman Khan. In the video both Salman and mallika are cavorting and candillancing, the best part of the song is its lyrics which is indeed a crowd puller, with its bizarre words like aamiya se aam and becoming zandu bam in love. This song has become the sensational song of the year.

Well no to forget, another important aspect of the movie is debutant actor Sonakshi Sinha who is the daughter of the famous actor Satrughan Sinha. Both dad and daughter were present during the musical launch. It looks like Satrughan Sinha is leaving no stone unturned in the promotion of her daughter’s first move. It was celebration time for the team Dabangg as they all were in a very jolly mood. Asthe movie is Arbaaz khan’s home production, so we got to see the khan family during the event.

The music has already become a chartbuster and catching people’s attention, the movie is expected to be a hit like Wanted. Well time will tell that but for now we got to enjoy the masala music of Dabangg.

When Piggy Chops lost her voice!

"Priyanka had to act as an audience in a concert which was being shot,'' a source tells Mumbai Mirror. In the scene Piggy Chops was supposed to enjoy the concert and scream very loudly, louder than everybody else in the audience. That scream had to differentiate itself."

Vishal apparently asked for a few retakes, and Priyanka did the needful. “After Vishal approved the scene, Priyanka realised that her throat was choked.”

She could realise the aftermaths of the scream only the next morning, when the actress found her voice gone. She tried her level best to get the voice in its original state by drinking hot water but nothing was helping. After trying all this she immediately rushed to a doctor then.

“The doctor has put her on heavy medication and has advised her to not talk at all for at least a week,” reveals the source.

HP CEO resigns amid harassment claims

Mark Hurd, chief executive of computer giant Hewlett Packard (HP), has stepped down following an investigation into charges of sexual harassment, the company announced on Friday.

HP said the investigation determined there was no violation of HP's sexual harassment policy but did find violations of HP's Standards of Business Conduct.

According to a company statement, the investigation revolved around sexual harassment allegations made by an outside contractor with HP. It said that Hurd "with the board of directors" had decided to resign immediately, a signal that the chief executive who had revitalised HP since taking over in 2005 was forced to fall on his sword.

"As the investigation progressed, I realized there were instances in which I did not live up to the standards and principles of trust, respect and integrity that I have espoused at HP and which have guided me throughout my career," said Hurd. "After a number of discussions with members of the board, I will move aside, and the board will search for new leadership."

Chief financial officer Cathie Lesjak, 51, will take over as interim chief executive while the company searches for a permanent replacement, HP said.

DLF subsidiaries under govt scanner

The Competition Commission of India has received complaints against four subsidiaries of realty major DLF for alleged misuse of their position to block competition in the market, Corporate Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid said on Thursday.

The competition watchdog has received complaints against four subsidiaries of DLF - DLF New Gurgaon Homes Developers, DLF Home Developers Ltd and Others, DLF Limited and Others, and DLF New Gurgaon, Khurshid said.

In a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, he said the ministry was concerned about the malpractices in the real estate sector and would take appropriate action against the companies that indulge in fraud or malpractices.

"The ministry is taking action against the developers in the realty sector which are registered under Companies Act 1956," Khurshid added.

He said in case the practices followed by the real estate developers were anti-competitive or in the nature of abuse of dominance, the commission initiates action under the provisions of the Competition Act, 2002.
